The Wyomissing Area School District provides excellent education to most of the borough and surrounding areas including Wyomissing Hills and West Reading.

Wyomissing Area Jr/Sr High School Complex

Wyomissing Area Jr/Sr High School provides instruction to 7th - 12th grade students. The older portion of the building built in 1940 is primarily used for grades 7 through 9 while the newer portion of the building built in 1964 and expanded and renovated in 1994 is used primarily for grades 10 through 12 as well as houses the cafeteria, library, and the school district offices.

Wyomissing Hills Elementary Center provides instruction to children in grades Kindergarten through the 4th grade.

West Reading Elementary Center provides instruction to children in the 5th and 6th grades.

Note: Some portions of Wyomissing including Berkshire Heights and some streets north of the bypass including the Berkshire Mall are not in the Wyomissing Area School District and are instead part of the Wilson School District.
